Jim Tassoni founded Armor Wealth Strategies with a mission: to help people gain clarity and certainty in their financial lives. What drove this desire was a chapter in Jim’s personal life where tomorrow was far from certain.
A financial professional who can offer both investment and insurance products and services, Jim has enjoyed a 20-plus-year stint in financial services. Both his career and life have been defined by perseverance. In 2014, after 18 months of severe symptoms, Jim was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition that nearly took his life. Today, he maintains a relatively normal life and has applied the lessons he learned from that adversity to his role as an advisor.
“Because of my journey, I feel especially attuned to the idea that we only get one life to live,” Jim said. “I was given a second chance, and I feel it’s my duty to not only help clients with their financial house but put them in a place where they can go out and enjoy life.”
A graduate of Michigan State University, Jim and his wife, Logan, live in Grand Rapids with their two young daughters, Gianna and Kinsley, and the family’s Goldendoodle, Charli. Jim’s hobbies include golf, coaching his daughters’ softball and basketball teams and rooting on his Spartans.

Inspired to join her husband, Jim, at the firm he founded, Logan Tassoni transitioned from a successful career in operations within the commercial real estate investment sector to the same role at Armor Wealth Strategies. As the business has expanded, Logan’s operations know-how has proved invaluable to both the company and its clients.
Logan embraces the challenges of entrepreneurship, bringing robust experience that includes time as COO of Durand Capital. At Armor Wealth Strategies, she finds satisfaction in helping clients find confidence through exceptional services, specializing in all aspects of client relations. Logan’s commitment helps ensure clients feel supported, from navigating account access to understanding paperwork. She embodies the firm’s dedication to security and guidance.
Logan resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Jim and their two daughters, Gianna and Kinsley. Away from the office, Logan’s passions include photography, spending time outdoors and enjoying the thrill of Michigan State football Saturdays with her family.
